In June of 2021, I learned a few valuable lessons from veterinarian Dr. ---- at the Llama Info Day hosted by Jeff and Niki Kuklenski of JNK Llamas. As it turns out, there exist far too many stories of late of llamas dying from eating hay too high in nitrate concentration.
