DOB 03/15/2021

PET PARTNERS REGISTERED COMPLEX THERAPY LLAMA

ILR SD Performance Lifetime Achievement Certificate

This girl had my attention even before she arrived. Niki messaged me soon after her arrival, and within days, Vetta carried herself with such poise and sass that I knew her confidence would serve her well for the roles I wanted her to fill.

Vetta's mom, JNK Tobias's Kalosi, looks so much like her mom, Ramblin' Rosie. I remember Niki talking to me about Rosie many years ago while we camped and carted with our llamas at Farragut State Park. She thought Rosie a fantastic investment to any classic program, so it didn't surprise me when I watched Niki acquire her soon thereafter. Kalosi, also out of MPL Anders Tobias, has the same short coat that Rosie did, not to mention her stretchy and athletic build to which I am consistently drawn.

Even though Vetta resembles her mother and grandmother, she acquired her large bone and awesome rear end from her father, JNK Cayetano. Cayetano is currently Niki's top classic herdsire, an ILR SD/UAP halter champion and Complex Registered therapy llama with Pet Partners. Out of MPL Sky Rocket (a PLTA Master Packer) and Rocky Mountain Sunshine (a Rocky Mountain Jester daughter), I feel fortunate to have acquired these strong and proven lines in Vetta.

Upon meeting Vetta at the Llama Info Day in 2020 and working with her more thoroughly a month later at the John Mallon Clinic, she struck me with her calm disposition and eagerness to keep up with me and my fast pace. At just under 5 months of age, she followed closely and obediently at my right shoulder, on a loose lead, too. Today, she is the calm-natured girl whose inquisitve personality makes her quite the favorite among visitors and those new to llamas. She has begun her show career in halter and performance, and she is currently training and conditioning for backpacking and cart driving (ground driving first).

Civetta (pronounced chee-vay-ta) is one of the most prominent Dolomite mountains in the Province of Belluno in northern Italy. Classed as one of the symbols of the Dolomites, it stands in the first line of the wildest Dolomite mountains, mainly because its huge northwest face is an eyecatcher in the Agordino valley.
